We are a global community of early-stage investors. We have over 100+ members, and we what brings us together was our interest in early stage investing and supporting the founders we invest in.

What is our thesis?

Our investment thesis is broad to leverage our function and industry expertise :

  1. We look for great founders looking to disrupt massive markets
  2. Technology startups, with preference for software deals
  3. Early signs of product market fit (we prefer startups with at least an MVP)
  4. Global scope with a focus on emerging markets
  5. Early stage (pre Series-A)
  6. Industry agnostic although avoiding cap intensive, highly regulated, and long time to market projects

How do we select the projects we share with eSeed members?

Hard criteria

All the below need to be true

  1. Tech as differentiator

    We will only invest in tech companies in which technology is at the core of their value added to users

  2. Software, not hardware

    Hardware deals are much more capital intensive, have longer TTM, and are less attractive

  3. Easy to understand

    We should be able to understand the market and what the company does in 5 minutes.

  4. Live product generating revenue

    We like to see a working product, so we ask for an MVP for us to invest

  5. Focus, single value proposition

    Customers will only buy products with a single value proposition, and building products with many value propositions decreases chances of success substantially
